Como Rotary Classic Car Show
Garmony Property Consultants, Licensed Valuers are once again proud sponsors of the Rotary Club of Como’s Classic Car Show. The Como Rotary Classic Car Show will be held on Sunday 29 September 2024 at Wesley College’s Ward Oval in South Perth between 10am and 2pm. Entry to the display area on Ward Oval is from Angelo Street, South Perth.
The Car Show attracts over 200 cars of all makes and ages. The event will include Music, slot cars for kids, sausage sizzle, coffee, ice cream and a cake stall. Net proceeds from the event go to Rotary Club of Como and Wesley College Charities.

Australian Property Institute – Prize for Curtin University students
Garmony Property Consultants, Licensed Valuers has again contributed to the Australian Property Institute’s (API) P.C. Kerr Divisional Prize. The Western Australian Division of the Australian Property Institute (API) supports the Curtin University Property Studies students with the annual P. C. Kerr (Memorial) Divisional Prize. This Prize is awarded to the graduate with the best overall aggregate in the degree course of property study in the past year. Garmony Property Consultants have contributed to the prize by way of sponsorship for over 20 years, supporting the API and the Curtin University property studies graduates. Our property valuation company and our licensed valuers, provide ongoing support to the Curtin University Property Studies program by way of prize money for the Australian Property Institute – Prize for Curtin University students, as guest lecturers for the Specialist Property Valuation unit and as mentors/internships for the Valuation Practice Unit the 3rd years students complete.

Garmony Property Consultants are proud supporters of the Como Rotary Club & Wesley College’s 7th Annual Classic Car Show held at the Wesley College grounds in South Perth on the 4th October 2018. The event had over 200 classic cars on display with the event raising funds to support local charitable groups. Rotary also supports leadership development programs, for students and young adults, which can be life changing programs for our community leaders of tomorrow.
Garmony’s Valuers Sponsor PCYC’s Circus Quirkus
As part of the Children’s Festival, the Perth PCYC (The Police and Community Youth Centres) organises a special event called Circus Quirkus for selected special needs, disadvantaged and at-risk children which provides them with a wonderful day to remember with astounding performances of acrobatics, clowning, juggling, death-defying stunts and lots of comedy. The Licensed Valuers at Garmony Property Consultants sponsors and purchases tickets for the event on behalf of disadvantaged youth, allowing them to attend the show.

Awareness Cambodia is a not-for-profit overseas aid organisation. They work in partnership with communities to directly assist some of the poorest and most underprivileged in war-ravaged and impoverished Cambodia. Awareness Cambodia’s commitment is to provide orphaned children with a safe place to live, the necessary resources and education to become future leaders and the professionals that Cambodia so desperately needs. In the year 2000 Awareness Cambodia established its first project, Sunshine House, where children orphaned or abandoned due to HIV/AIDS could find safety, security and education.

One in twenty children is born with a congenital abnormality or genetic disease. That’s over 12,000 children born in Australia each year.The work of the scientists at Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI) has a single aim – to improve and extend the lives of children everywhere. CMRI has been a pioneer in the field of paediatric medical research since its inception in 1958. Its many achievements include increasing survival rates of premature babies, establishing Australia’s first research unit for newborns, developing life saving microsurgery techniques, and introducing vaccines that protect against a number of potentially fatal or disabling childhood diseases.
