Specifically the ISMS’s key objective is to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data and information in maintained. Garmony is now ISO 27001:2013 Certified.
ISO/IEC 27001, is an internationally recognised structured methodology dedicated to information security and its related risk management processes. It defines the requirements for an Information Security Management System (ISMS) and is a joint publication from the International Organisation for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
The management of data in any organisation, including property valuations, is critical to remaining compliant with the regulatory bodies and clients/customers. Recent breaches of customer data from large national and international organisations, can cause significant issues for those companies and their customers. This has a huge impact on the confidence and trust that customers, partners, and the industry has a whole has on a business with a data breach. ISMS ensures that our property valuation company takes responsibility as custodians of that data seriously. Our property valuation clients can have the confidence that their personally sensitive data is securely maintained. Both Civic MJD Australia and Garmony are ISO 27001:2013 Certified.
